ITANAGAR, Aug 20: Divisional Office Spices Board, Itanagar has invited applications for Productivity Awards-2019 from the farmers of both small and large cardamom from across the state, according to an official release here.
The first and second prize carries a cash award of Rs 1lakh, and Rs 50,000 respectively out of which one is exclusively reserved for women farmers.
“Interested farmers shall submit their application along with supporting documents such as proof of land ownership, copy of cardamom registration certificates /RTC/Chitta adangal, a brief note of cultivation techniques adopted to the nearest species board office on or before August 25,” the release added.
