ITANAGAR, Aug 21: HIM International School conducted its Annual Spelling Bee Competition on Tuesday which saw an enthusiastic participation of students.
The competition was inaugurated by Principal Dr Maneesh Mangal in presence of Vice Principal Viju Kallara Jose, Coordinator Pooja Singh, teachers and students. It was held in two categories, Junior one    consisting of grade 3, 4 and 5 and the Senior category consisting of Grades 6, 7 and 8. Junior Category saw participation of 57 students with 12 rounds. Doly Bagang of Grade 5 finished first while Taba Ross of Grade 5 became Runner-Up in a close play of spelling difficult words. Kikha Jomin of grade 5 finished third.
There were 73 participants in the Senior Category spread over 16 rounds which witnessed neck to neck fight. Nani Nomo of grade 8 raised the champion’s trophy while Hage Mariza of grade 8 became the runner-up and Ralbon Ratam came third.
