TEZU/PASIGHAT, Sep 28: Seeking justice for late Arun Modi, who was found dead floating in an abandoned water tank at Tezu recently, a delegation of Modi Welfare Society (MWS) headed by its president Jokut Modi and general secretary Sonyung Modi submitted a representation to Dy. Commissioner and Superintendent of Police, Tezu today.
The delegation along with representatives of Dibang Valley unit of Pertin Bodum Kebang (PBK) submitted the representation to the DC and SP and urged both the officials to speed up the investigation of the alleged murder case. Late Modi's  body was found floating in an abandoned water tank at Tezu on September 16, three days after his disappearance. 
Later in the day, a committee was constituted to spearhead the justice demand for late Arun Modi under the Chairmanship of Oling Modi. The newly formed committee has appealed all other societies and individuals to support the justice demand committee so that perpetrators are put behind bars at the earliest.
