ITANAGAR, Aug 24: As a part of a special exercise to reduce pendency of Court cases, a one day special Lok Adalat for disposal of pending petty cases in the state was conducted successfully by the various Legal Services Authorities under the supervision of the Gauhati High Court, Itanagar Permanent Bench and Arunachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority today.
Altogether 286 cases were listed, out of which 57 cases were disposed of with a settlement amount of Rs. 4,35,123.
