ITANAGAR, Jan 11: The Special Enrolment camp that was launched on January 5 last for the members of the Transport Federation for enrolling them in three schemes of Central and State government viz Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Chief Ministers Aarogya Arunachal Yojana at Takar Complex, Naharlagun witnessed an overwhelming response from the public. The camp ended today and the total enrolment was 14,680.
The Deputy Commissioner Capital Complex Prince Dhawan has thanked the public and further urged them to disseminate the information about such pro people schemes of the State and the Central Government to others. He informed that in the earlier camp at Itanagar, more than 1300 enrolments were done.
Dobing Sonam, President All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation (AAPPTF) thanked the District Administration and informed that the camp was hugely successful. He has also thanked the Organising Chairman Tarh Kaha AGS AAPPTF, Organising Secretary Dabo Loda Convener AAPPTF, Chief volunteers Kutung Jomoh AGS AAPPTF and the other volunteers for successfully conducting the camp.
He also informed that 240 new accounts were also opened for public on the spot at State Bank of India.Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana is available to people between 18 and 70 years of age with bank accounts. It has an annual premium of Rs 12 exclusive of taxes. In case of accidental death or full disability, the payment to the nominee will be Rs 2 lakh and in case of partial Permanent disability Rs 1 lakh.
Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana is available to people between 18 and 50 years of age with bank accounts. It has an annual premium of Rs 330. In case of death due to any cause, the payment to the nominee will be Rs 2 lakh. 
Chief Minister’s Aarogya Arunachal Yojana is a state health insurance scheme with coverage up to Rs 5 lakhs for secondary and tertiary care. 
The camp was organized by District Administration Capital Complex in association with All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation and State Bank of India.
