Aalo, Jun 24: State Legislative Assembly Speaker PD Sona visited the family members of late Tuli Gangkak, the Shi-Yomi ADC here at his Upper Colony residence on Tuesday, the day of his funeral and consoled the bereaved family members.
Terming Gangkak as a strong and straightforward administrator, the Speaker said that his untimely demise is a great loss not only for the family but also for the state government.
In a condolence meeting convened by Shi-Yomi Deputy Commissioner Mito Dirchi, the officers and officials observed a two-minute silence at DC Office Tato as a mark of respect to the departed soul. DC also gave a brief account of the late ADC’s life and his contribution to the administration and social spheres.
Late Gangkak served as EAC-cum-BDO Mechuka during 2003-2005 before being posted there as ADC. Similar condolence meeting was also held at ADC office Rumgong where he served as the ADC before his posting to Shi-Yomi district. DIPRO
