ITANAGAR, Jun 22: Serving officer Tuli Gamkak, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Tato, Shi-Yomi district passed away on Monday at Aalo following prolonged illness.
State Assembly Speaker Pasang D Sona while mourning Gamkak's demise said "He was a humble and hardworking APCS officer. His sudden departure is a huge loss to our Shi-Yomi district in particular and state in general. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family," he further added. 
The Confederation of Service Associations of Arunachal Pradesh (CoSAAP) while mourning Gamkak's demise said, 'In him, we have lost a brilliant officer and a very good human being.The vacuum created due to his sudden demise cannot be filled soon."
The Kargu Kardi Welfare Society has deeply mourned the untimely demise of Tuli Gamkak, Additional Deputy Commissioner, who passed away today at his residence at Aalo, West Siang District, after prolonged illness. 
Late Gamkak was known for his straight forwardness and kind hearted helping nature. He was a man of humility, able orator with an enriched knowledge of local customary laws, folklore. He was a prominent figure of the Kargu Kardi Welfare Society and acted as philanthropist and promoter, who was respected by all section of society, the KKWS said. 
“Besides being an able administrator, he was a valuable resource that our community always looked upto for counsel. His guidance, no-nonsense approach, crisp and incisive judgement shall be missed.May his noble soul continue to show us the  right path," said Jarpum Gamlin, Publisher Eastern Sentinel.
Born to Late Yomtu Gamkak and Late Tuli Gamkak was very sincere in his studies as well as social works. He started his primary schooling from Govt. Middle School, Liromoba, graduation from JNC in 1987 and post graduation from Rajiv Gandhi University, then Arunachal University in 1989. He cleared APCS in 1994 and was appointed as Circle Officer and served the state in various capacities. Presently, he was posted as ADC in Shi-Yomi District, Taro. He was 53 years and is survived by his wife Yabar Yomcha Gamkak, a son, daughter and few grandchildren.
