MECHUKA, Apr 1: State Legislative Assembly Speaker Pasang D Sona on Wednesday visited all the Circles of Shi-Yomi district including the district headquarters Tato and reviewed the Covid-19 related preparedness.
The Speaker, who is currently stationed here to oversee the district’s Covid-19 situation also inspected the quarantine/isolation facilities at Monigong, Pidi and Tato. The DC, SP and DMO accompanied him. While interacting with the health workers, supply staff and Political Interpreters (PI), Sona appealed them not to leave any stone unturned and fight the pandemic unitedly. “Essential commodities are available in the district and there is no need to panic,” he said, adding that the DA, police and health workers are on their toes.
Reiterating that correct information and awareness is the key to prevent the virus from spreading, Speaker appealed the denizens to strictly follow the lockdown advisories and not to venture out except for emergencies. Speaker's PR Cell
