KOLORIANG, Apr 29: Situation in Koloriang turned tense when hundreds of agitators carrying lethal weapons ransacked the office of the Superintendent of Police, Kurung Kumey today.
Local sources from Koloriang informed that violence erupted after security officials failed to arrest culprits who shot dead Goan Burah Bengia Tamang at Taba Village ahead of the re-poll under Koloriang Assembly constituency.
Agitators are demanding suspension of the SP claiming his failure to arrest the culprits. Further, security official also confirmed that suspected gelatin sticks was recovered from the helipad here this morning which they have confiscated.
