ITANAGAR/DIRANG, Oct 23: Members of the All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation (AAPPTF), led by its president Dobing Sonam, on Wednesday, met the fire victims of Rama Camp market here and distributed relief items to them.
A total of 6 houses were completely gutted while another was partially damaged in a massive fire that broke at the Rama Camp market area on October 17 last.
Though there was no loss of life, however, properties worth crores of rupees were burnt down to ashes in the fire.
After interacting with the fire victims, Sonam, on the occasion also appealed all present to take precautionary measures to prevent harmful fire accidents in the future, especially taking into consideration the approach of dry season.
