ITANAGAR, Mar 10: State Assembly Speaker P. D. Sona on Sunday released a book titled "The Folktales for Children" by Dr. Nasi Koje at D.N. Government College, Itanagar.
Lauding the author for her remarkable achievement, Sona underscored the book's pivotal role in preserving cherished folklore of Shi-Yomi in particular.
Expressing admiration for the author's dedication, Sona highlighted the significance of such literary works for the future generations.
"I commend Dr. Koje for her dedication in bringing forth this work, hopeful that it will play a substantial role in promoting and preserving our time-honoured folklore," he stated.
Renowned author Y. D. Thongchi, present as the guest of honor, also lauded Dr. Koje's work, encouraging the younger generation to delve into its contents.
Dr. Koje, during the event, shared insights into her book's inception, inspiration, and the challenges she faced in the compilation. She acknowledged everyone who played a role in bringing "The Folktales for Children" to completion.
