ITANAGAR, Jan 28:  State Legislative Assembly Speaker Pasang D Sona on Tuesday inspected the ongoing e-Vidhan project which is being implemented in the Assembly Secretariat.
National E-Vidhan Application is a Mission Mode Project to digitize and make the functioning of State legislatures paperless.
The project is in the final stage and is all set to make Assembly  proceedings “paperless” probably from upcoming budget session. 
Once the e-Vidhan project is implemented, each and every information in regards to the legislative assembly will be available at the finger tips of the members who can then use their tablets/laptops etc to see the list of business and read questions and other documents pertaining to house proceedings.
Inspecting the progress of the work, the Speaker instructed the agency concerned to ensure that the project is implemented at the earliest. He however suggested them to maintain the quality of work and also make sure that there is no loophole or lapse in the project.  Meanwhilwle, informing that the project work is in the final stage and only installation work is remaining, the officials of e-Vidhan briefed the Speaker that installation work will start immediately and training to the concerned members will be imparted from the second week of February.

They also demonstrated the Speaker on the working and functioning of the e-Vidhan project. Media Cell
