ITANAGAR, Aug 8: Defending Champion, Banggo United FC out classed Narmi FC 3:0 in the ongoing Annual 7th Itanagar Solung Football championship underway at BN, playground Chimpu.
In the second match, Naharlagun Solung FC outplayed Abor Ao FC 4-1.
Abor Ao FC tried hard for a comeback, but the strong Naharlagun Solung FC players kept them away from scoring.
On Thursday, Siang United FC will take on Ai Ye Hol FC in the first match, after which Agam Yameng FC will measure up against Donggin FC in the evening match.
A total of 18 teams have been distributed into 4 groups which will play league matches with each other in the run up to the finale which will be played on the occasion of Solung festival.
Two matches will be played every day at 2 PM and 3:45 PM.
