BORDUMSA, Jun 5: A plantation drive was organized by Nyanaloka Welfare Society, Bordumsa to mark the World Environment Day here today. More than 300 saplings were planted adjacent to the Trans Arunachal highway in Bordumsa.
Joining the event, Addl. Deputy Commissioner Bordumsa Minga Sherpa appreciated the Nyanaloka Welfare Society (NWS) for organizing such event with a message of concern and protection of the environment. He also appealed the denizens to take proper care of the planted saplings.
He also informed that Bordumsa administration circle has banned entry of outsiders after 28 cases of COVID-19 were detected in Changlang district. Only emergency and essential commodities vehicles with proper permission from the administration will be allowed to move in and out of Bordumsa.
Among others, President NWS,Head Gaon Bura Sikhet Tang Singpho , public leader C.S Mirip , Waradama Bhante Head monk –Goju village also participated in the plantation drive
