ITANAGAR, Dec 29: The Arunachal Civil Society (ACS) in a release has urged the state government to introduce new rules and regulations directing the commercial or rented house owners to construct mandatory parking facilities in their respective building premises.
Stating that 99 % of rented houses in the twin capital do not have sufficient parking facilities because of which tenants often park their vehicles in public places thereby disrupting smooth traffic flow.
It also asked concerned authority not to issue driving licence to those persons who do not have parking facilities in their premises.
ACS raised concern that while private buildings is rapidly mushrooming under capital complex, on the other hand, owners forget completely to construct facilities like sidewalks, entry etc.
