ITANAGAR, Sep 4: In a noble gesture, Nyishi Art and Culture Welfare Society (NACWS) donated a refrigerator and edibles to the students of Donyi-Polo Mission School for Hearing and Visual Impaired, Chimpu today.
NACWS visited the school along with the top-5 finalists of Nyishi Idol- season-6 who performed various songs for the students. Speaking on the occasion, Chairperson NACWS Bengia Tabb expressed his gratitude to the school authority for giving opportunities to share moments with the students. Tabb advised them to not be discouraged in life but polish the unique talent they have in a different field. “You all are the gem of society and state, you can do anything and everything,” added Chairperson NACWS. Principal DPMHVI, H Sharma extended gratitude to the NACWS team for contributing edibles and refrigerator to the students. He also extended best wishes to all the top-5 contestants of the Nyishi Idol. Earlier, students also performed various cultural activities showcasing their talents.
