ITANAGAR, Nov 8: The 25-member team of budding boxers from the Sangay Lhaden Sports Academy (SLSA) which participated in the recently concluded 2nd Jarbom Gamlin State Level Boxing Championship held at Basar in Leparada district from November 1-4 last had put up an excellent performance by winning huge number of medals in various categories.
SLSA Girls Team became the Champion in Sub-Junior Under-14 & its Boys Team became Runners-Up in Sub-Junior Boys Under-14 category. Lukum Kamda was declared Best Boxer of the Championship. The medal winners from the academy are Jack Degio, Abotani Natung, Lukum Kamda, Noklai Wangpan, Techi Nai, Tagru Aper, Happy Ekke, Sanjina Sidasow (all Gold), Ritu Tawsik, Rinchin Wangdi, Gyamar Yara, Anthony Natung, Kung Jamoh, Higi Nyikum, Tadang Tadar (all Silver) and Neelam Punia, Teli Amoush & Suraj Sakrinsow (all Bronze).
