ROING, Sep 24: A skill development training programme for registered Building & Other Construction Workers was inaugurated today at the Multipurpose Cultural Hall, Roing, by EAC Jayanti Pertin.
EAC Pertin stated that it is a golden opportunity for registered workers to enhance their skills through the 15 days skill development training programme and advised the trainees to utilise the opportunity, learn and better their livelihood prospects.
She also directed the concerned department to monitor the training process and see that the purpose of the training is served.
The training is an initiative of the Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board and implemented by Kolkata based Sunita Infotech, in the district. R. K. Prasad informed that it is the second phase of skill development training and courses on computer hardware, beautician and domestic electrification will be offered.
