TAWANG, Dec 12: Skill development sensitisation and trainee selection rally 2018-19 under Chief Minister’s Skill Development Mission was conducted today at Monyul Sports Club by the District Industries Centre in collaboration with district administration, Tawang.
Speaking on the occasion as chief guest, Deputy Commissioner Sang Phuntsok said this mission is beneficial to all the unemployed youths to upgrade and get skill training in trades like plumbing, masonry, electrician, sound engineering, video editing, etc. by upgrading the skills and they can earn more, and even give employment to others.
More than 100 unemployed youths registered themselves for availing training under various trades on the first day. Assistant Director of Industries, Tawang informed that the registration of youths will increase since the process of registration will continue for a week.
SS Kalsi, Superintendent of Police, also spoke on the occasion as guest of honour.
In another event ‘Chunao Paathshaala’ and quiz competition were organised at Government Higher Secondary School Tawang by Election Department on systematic voters education and electoral participation campaign. Lobsang Tsetan EAC (ELN) gave awareness on election related topic to the students.
