NAMSAI, Nov 14: Union Agriculture Minister, Radha Mohan Singh will be visiting the state to attend a National Conference cum Krishi Unnati Mela 2018 embodying the theme “Approaches for doubling farmer’s income”, being organized by the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Namsai on November 17 – 18.
The programme is being sponsored under the flagship of ICAR NEH Region and supported by National Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). The main highlight of the two-day programme will include a demonstration of the latest farming technology by various line departments, exhibition and sale of farm products, awards ceremony etc. DDG, ICAR New Delhi is expected to attend the valedictory function.
