PASIGHAT, Nov 18: The Sigar Military Station of Indian Army based at Mebo Sub-Division flagged off 41 youths from East Siang, Siang, Upper Siang and other nearby districts willing to join the  Indian Army to take part in the recruitment rally to be held at Army centre, Tenga Valley in West Kameng District from November 20-26 next.
Colonel Ankur Kulin informed that 26 local youths were earlier recruited in the Indian Army with the help of Sigar Military station which has been imparting pre-recruitment trainings for interested local youths free of cost. 
Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Brig. (Dr.)B.D. Mishra, (Retd) has awarded commendation medals to the team in recognition of this effort.
