YINGKIONG, Mar 17: A day-long ‘Siang River Rafting Programme’ was held on Tuesday in Upper Siang District organized by AARRO Adventure, Yingkiong.
The programme was undertaken to spread the message of the need to protect Mother Nature among the district’s people in general, specifically the women and also to promote local tourism activities. Everester and two-time state gold medallist Kishon Tekseng and Akoing Tekseng, also a state gold medallist were the guides. DIPRO
