Boleng, Jul 23: A meeting of the District Planning Board, Siang district was convened today here under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Rajeev Takuk in presence of MLA 32 Rumgong Talem Taboh, MLA 35 Pangin Ojing Tasing, DPO Tapik Komut and engineering heads of all Works Departments.
DC while urging  the heads of Engineering and Work Departments to adopt inclusive planning for greater success, advised them to seek suggestions and incorporate the views of all stakeholders while undertaking any developmental work. He also sought updates on the status of various ongoing developmental works. 35 Pangin MLA informed about the adoption of perspective plan of 5 years duration with priority for yearly GoAP plans and advised all departments  to prioritize the selection of developmental schemes on the basis of importance and need. He further advised them to take up only such developmental proposals which would actually help the people after consultation with the elected representatives of the people. 
MLA 32 Rumgong urged all works departmental heads to avoid haphazard selection of schemes and consult the elected representatives while undertaking selection of any developmental work and work together as ‘Team Siang’ for the larger development of the district.
All HoDs informed about the schemes and developmental works and shared the practical difficulties and challenges. After extensive deliberation, various works were identified and prioritized for the participating departments. Dipro
