BOLENG, Feb 12: Siang district celebrated the har ghar jal mission for achieving 100%FHTC (functional household tap connection) saturation at Boleng today which was organised by the PHE & water supply division, Pangin. Executive engineer Kaling Taki, informed this daily that the estimated target to complete the mission was on March 2024 but with the help and support of the district administration, community based organisations, implementing support agencies and villagers the mission. was completed on December 31, 2023 in Siang district. 
MLA Ojing Tasing, while lauding the villagers on the tremendous achievement, also appealed the public to protect and preserve water and shared its importance in our day to day life.
The event also witnessed felicitation of three best performing VWSC ( Village water sanitation committee) namely jomlobari, riga mobuk, pangin moruk; as well as three best performing women trained in FTK handling And also three best performing field staff.
