Itanagar, Mar 4: Shweta Nagarkoti Mehta, an IAS officer of 2020 batch formally took over the charge of Deputy Commissioner Capital Itanagar today. She was earlier serving as ADC Capital Itanagar. 
A farewell function was also organized today in honour of outgoing Deputy Commissioner, Capital Itanagar Talo Potom IAS who has been posted as Chief Estate Officer and Nodal Officer ( NH-415 package B and C). 
The outgoing DC in his speech said that he had always considered his work as priority and had always given the best of his capabilities to his duty. All officers and officials spoke highly of the outgoing DC and shared how he had inspired many of them during his tenure as DC Capital Itanagar. 
HoDs and other officers and officials attended the farewell.
