ITANAGAR, Apr 3:Four Self Group Help group members supported by Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM) from Yachuli and Namsai recently Participated in the annual Aajevika Mela held at New Delhi from March 23 to April 1 last.
Joram Pera, Nabam Rinia , Binita Mowke, Juru Gogoi are the SHGs Members who participated. They were accompanied by Programme Manager of ARSRLM, Nabam Ompi.
The Aajevika Mela is being annually organized by Ministry of Rural development in which SHGs members from across the country participate for exhibition and sale of their products in over 500 stalls. The Mela is an endeavour of DAY-National Rural Livelihoods Mission to provide rural women an opportunitity to showcase their products and help them to find buyers for their products.
It is to be mentioned here that ArSRLM is promoting more than 1000 SHGs while covering more than 9000 households in 15 blocks of the state such as Seppa ,Ziro, Daporijo, Aalo , Roing ,Nmasai etc.
