ITANAGAR, Apr 12:

In a bid to create more understanding and bridge the gap between the party workers working at the grassroots level and government at the top, the Bhartiya Janata Party state unit in line with the working system and tradition of BJP headquarters in New Delhi, has resolved to follow weekly “Shanivaar Samvad”   here in the state also.

Under the programme two Cabinet Ministers will come to the state party office and spend one hour each every Saturday and will interact and discuss with party workers from all over the State on various developmental and governance issues.

The effort was jointly put together by Tapir Gao and Chief Minister, Pema Khandu to bring smooth coordination between the effort of the state government, party cadres and party activities.

This exercise will also provide the party workers opportunity to air their grievances, creative ideas, make meaningful suggestions and most importantly enable the Ministers to appreciate the development challenges and aspirations at the grassroots level better, BJP claimed in an official release today.

The BJP also said that in return it will enable party workers working in grassroots level in taking pragmatic decision, framing of appropriate policies and designing effective implementation of action plan.
