ITANAGAR, Feb 10: Several prominent figures joined the Bharatiya Janata Party at Itanagar on Friday which included former government officials and politicians. 
Retired Chief Engineer PWD Er. Tabe Doni of Dumporijo, Retired SE PWD Tapi Darang of Pasighat, Tojir Kadu who contested the election as Congress candidate in 2019 from Nari-Koyu,  Nokchai Bohan  who contested in 2019 from  Kanubari on a Congress ticket, joined the BJP among others.
Biyuram Wahge, State President cum MLA, Tarh Tarak State Vice-President cum Chairman Party Joining Committee, Nalong Mize State General Secretary and other dignitaries were present at the BJP headquarters on Friday.  
The party said that their joining is testament to the faith in good governance under the leadership of Prime minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pema Khandu in the state.
Biyuram Wahge while accepting their joining hoped that this will definitely strengthen the party at the grass root level in the upcoming elections 2024.
