PASIGHAT, Feb 24: Seva Bhavan, the Office cum Seva Kendra of Seva Bharati Arunachal Pradesh was inaugurated at Gumin Nagar, Pasighat on Sunday by Sunil Deshpande, Akhil Bharatiya SahSampark of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in presence of hundreds of karyakartas and dignitaries.
The Chief Guest of the occasion Sunil Deshpande in his brief address called upon the karyakartas and well-wishers of Seva Bharati to make the best use of the Seva Bhavan for constructive society-building activities oriented to communal harmony and nation building. He stated that whatever material and infrastructural development we undertake will not serve the purpose unless we broaden our mind to accommodate thoughts for serving the others.
Emphasizing upon need for Seva, he briefly explained the service activities conducted by Seva Bharati all across the country for the last several decades.
Dr. BC Sarma (Prant Sanghachalak of RSS in Uttar Assam) who had earlier served in Bakin Pertin Memorial Hospital Pasighat and played a crucial role in shaping the hospital to its present level, said that Pasighat is second home for him from where he had learnt the true Sanskar of social service.
Tanon Tatak, President of Seva Bharati Arunachal Pradesh also gave a brief report of the various service projects under his organization and said that similar seva kendras shall be soon established in Namsai and Dibrugarh.            The seva kendra in Dibrugarh shall be solely for the service of patients and attendants visiting the city hospitals from Arunachal Pradesh. He also thanked the karyakartas and well-wishers of RSS and Seva Bharati for their financial, material and other support in making the Seva Bhavan a reality.

Dr.Kaling Jerang, Secretary of Seva Bharati Pasighat unit while welcoming the dignitaries and well-wishers said that the Seva Bhavan Pasighat has been constructed within two years with the financial support and cooperation of the karyakartas and wellwishers.
Among others, State BJP President cum MLA BR Waghe, former BJP President Tai Tagak, BJP Vice president cum MLA Ojing Tasing, MLAs Kaling Moyong, Ninong Ering, MP Tapir Gao among others attended the programme. DIPRO
