Khonsa, Sep 20: A Sensitization Programme on PM flagships schemes such as Ayushman Bharat, PM Jan Arogya and Poshan Abhiyan was conducted today by the District Urban Development Agency, Khonsa.
The programme was organised under Swasth SHG Pariwar to sensitize SHG members about the benefits of the above flagship programmes. AE,UD&H Er. L. Hosai explained the components of DAY-NULM to the SHG members and advised them not to use Single Use Plastic in Khonsa town and join the campaign against it. Dr. Somfa Sumpa of Health Department explained in details the benefits of the health schemes and EO, ICDS, Khonsa Sarita Rana briefed about Poshan Abhiyan.
The programme ended with a plastic free pledge led by EE, UD&H, Khonsa Er. Tai Sangkio. DIPRO
