BOMDILA, Mar 9: After launching of the ‘Arunachal Rising Campaign 2020’ on the eve of the ‘International Women’s Day’ here at Bomdila, a sensitization programme for Gram Preraks was held today at district headquarters Bomdila to disseminate information of the state flag ship programmes to the people at the grass root level. The campaign aims to enlighten people of the various welfare schemes of the government for the people.
A total of 14 Gram Preraks was appointed against the 14 administrative circles in the district for easy access, mobility and reach.
Conducting the sensitization programme, Resource person DIPRO G Taga, in his presentation, among others reiterated on reaching out to the people at their doorsteps and making people aware of the various welfare schemes of the state government for the socio-economic upliftment of the people especially those residing in the remote areas.
Owing to the ongoing Panchayat and Census activities, a deadline of 15 days was given for completion of the Arunachal Rising Campaign activities in the district.
Printed study materials of the various state flag ship programmes, banners, stationeries and honorarium were disbursed to all the Gram Preraks for effective implementation of the campaign. DIPRO
