ZIRO, May 9: For the successful and colourful celebration of Golden Jubilee Dree festival, the Mythology Committee of Central Dree Festival Committee (CDFC) Ziro today organized a daylong seminar on the "Dree Festival of the Apatanis" at Conference Hall, Ziro aim to make uniformity on mythology of Dree from different version.

Chairman of the seminar, CDFC Chairman Tapi Batt, Ex-minister while appreciating the participants for their knowledge in the legends and the mythology of Dree appealed them to rationalize the mythology for the convenience of the younger generation.

Earlier Lod Takkar, chairman Mythology Committee of CDFC while welcoming noted participants of various schools of mythology suggested for working out the differences for bringing out a distinct dree mythology.   

Good number of participants representing Tanw Supun Dukun, Meder Nello Council, Danyi Piilo Society, Apatani Priest Association, Popi Sarmin Society, writers and other stakeholders participated in the debate which relates to origin of agriculture; sources of paddy; first to celebrate Dree; the Dree uie; dreeNyibu and rituals etc.
