BOMDILA, Mar 6: The Consumer Rights Organization (CRO) in collaboration with the Government College Bomdila conducted a daylong seminar on ‘Consumer Rights and Responsibilities, Consumer Protection Act, Maximum Retail Price and consumer grievances’ today at Government College Bomdila.
State President for CRO A Bagang spoke on issues and challenges faced by the consumers and also on the role and responsibilities of consumers while exercising their rights.
Resource person Assistant Controller LMCA Bomdila Tasso Gurro dealt at length on Consumer Protection Act, 1987, wherein mechanism for grievance redressal was highlighted in a comprehensive manner. The programme concluded with question and answer session.
