ITANAGAR, May 15: State Election Commissioner, Hage Kojeen, has condoled the death of Khoda Ruja, former Director of Textiles & Handicraft and former President of Tanw Supung Dukung.
Recalling his association, Kojeen described Late Khoda Ruja as a dedicated and selfless worker both government servant and social activist. He contributed immensely as president of TSD in the field of social services particularly for maintaining a harmonious relationship with all the neighbouring communities for a peaceful co-existence which is a pre-requisite for socio-economic development in the State, he said.
Expressing grief over the untimely death of Ruja who was his classmate and close friend, the SEC said that the state has lost a committed officer who contributed a lot in development of the State in the field of Khadi & Village Industries, Textiles & Handicraft, Trade & Commerce etc during his long 38 years of service.
The Apatani Youth Association also mourned the death of Khoda Ruja remembering him as ‘one of the ablest bureaucrats of the state and his able administration acumen was visible during his tenure as President Tanw Supun Dukun.’
