PASIGHAT, Dec 24: The Pasighat block Upper Primary School level sports meet concluded here today at IGJ Hr. Secondary School playground. Altogether 17 UP schools took part in various sports events including football, volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho and track and field events.
UPS Balek emerged winner in the boy's football and Mirku UPS as runners-up. In girl's section KGBV, Pasighat beat Town UPS to emerge winner.
East Siang DDSE Jongge Yirang gave away the prizes to all the winners of every event. Organising Secy. Tanya Padung thanked all the teaching staff and team of District Football Association, East Siang for successful completion of the sports meet. The District level meet is slated for January next.
