TAWANG, Nov 8: The second round of Sarkar Aapke Dwar cum Jan Sunwai camp for the year 2019-20 of Tawang district was held today here at Shobur Upper Primary School which covered five villages namely Tsaikhar, Gomkang ,Yusum, Shobur, Kangteng and also few other hamlets.
MLA Tawang Tsering Tashi attended and inaugurated the camp as Chief Guest along with I/c DC Tawang Lobsang Tsering, senior public leaders, officers and officials from around 32 government departments.
Speaking on the occasion, Tashi expressed his gratitude to GoAP for initiating Sakar Apke Dwar camps. He appreciated the villagers of Tsaikhar-Yusum area for growing good number of vegetables and bringing it to market and assured them to provide solar fencing keeping in view of the menace of wild animals. He also felicitated the school toppers from classes I to VIII of the school. I/c DC spoke on the benefits of the camp and asked villagers to avail optimum benefits from it.
During the camp, registration for CMAAY, old age & widow pension, HIV counselling, nicotine and sugar level checking, issuance and surrender of ration cards, collection of electricity bills, selling of subsidized LED bulbs & plastic crates, issuance of birth certificate, ST/PRC certificate, driving license, marriage certificate, ADHAR registration were the activities that were carried out. DIPRO
