Itanagar, Feb 2: Capital DC and IMC Administrator Komkar Dulom has assured that salary of IMC and sanitary workers will be disbursed soon.
Talking to the media, Dulom said due to several reasons there had been delays in disbursement of salary to the workers engaged in collecting and cleaning garbage under the NGO and the requisite file for the same will be approved soon. It needs mentioning that salary of these workers had been lying pending for as many as eight months.
As I joined as DC Capital and took charge of IMC Administrator, I have been working on it and the file will be approved and sanctioned within a week and accordingly, more than two hundred eighty workers will receive their dues, he added.
The IMC Administrator appealed the workers to continue their work with dedication and also urged the city dwellers to dispose off their daily garbage in IMC vehicles only.
