ITANAGAR, Sep 10: A team of the Arunachal unit of the National People’s Party led by its State President, Gicho Kabak along with party MLAs and other office bearers called on the Chief Minister of Meghalaya and National President Conrad K Sangma at Guwahati on September 9 last.
Post-election scenario in Arunachal Pradesh including party organization base and the need for its further strengthening in grassroots levels in state were the issues that were discussed in details. Sangma while highlighting the party’s key agenda of working for the common cause of Northeast that encompasses ethnic and developmental issues, exhorted the elected MLAs to be the driving force in gearing up the party organization in Arunachal besides developmental activities.
Four MLAs Tapuk Taku, Mutchu Mithi, Tarin Dakpe & Gokar Basar, Working President State NPP & ex-MLA Pani Taram, ex-MLA & National Secretary Paknga Bage, ex-Minister & Vice-President State NPP Anok Wangsa and Vice-President State NPP-cum-Spokesperson Nima Sangey Saling attended the meeting.
The National President also disclosed that foreign trip to London will be arranged for the party MLAs on study tour shortly. Newsdesk
