LEKHI, Nov 5: Arunachal Pradesh Charitable Trust (APCT) commemorated the 7th death anniversary of noted social activist Rutum Kamgo through a prayer meeting attended by his widow, Minjum Kamgo, APCT President Tana Tagu Tara and Itanagar Shari Karavah Margin Taji.
While speaking on the occasion, Tana Tagu Tara said, “Life and contributions of social activists need to be celebrated more to change the mindset.”
Annual lecture in memory of late Kamgo would be delivered by India’s Defence Minister, Ms Nirmala Sitharaman on November 11 next whilst Chief Minister Pema Khandu shall grace as Guest of Honour informed Tara. 
All are invited to the talk on “Towards bridging the Indo-China Relationships for an emerging Asia,” added Tana. 
More nationalists in the interiors of Arunachal Pradesh are yet to be tapped, said AAPSU President Hawa Bagang while adding that social activists are much under-rated compared to political activists.  “With time, our thoughts must change,” Bagang exhorted.
