ROING, Nov 27: As a part of the ongoing CSR activities of NHPC Dibang Multipurpose Project (DMP), a two-day training programme on fish farming for rural farmers is underway here at Anchal Samiti Hall, Roing.
In all 71 participants are attending the training being conducted in association with Department of Fisheries, Lower Dibang Valley.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy General Manager, Environment, NHPC, Dr Avinash Kumar highlighted the nutritional qualities of fish and importance of fish farming in employment generation. District Fisheries Development Officer gave the outline of the programme and appreciated the efforts being put in by NHPC.
