ITANAGAR, Feb 9: The Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank Employees’ Union on Friday vehemently condemned the brutal murder of Bomge Nyori, a cashier at Rural Bank Mebo branch on February 7 last by unknown assailants.
While taking serious note of the gruesome incident, the Union strongly demanded the police to immediately arrest the culprit (s) and give them exemplary punishment.
“The incident has sent shockwaves and fear psychosis among the Rural Bank staffers across the state. We strongly demand the police department to expedite the investigation and immediately arrest the culprits,” the Union said in a statement here.
It further urged the government to provide appropriate ex-gratia to the widow of the deceased as Late Nyori sacrificed his life while rendering public service.
While expressing resentment over the lack of security measures in APRB branch premises across the state, the Union strongly demanded the management to change their lackadaisical attitude towards the security of its employees and fulfill all basic security arrangement in all branches at the earliest.
Meanwhile, the Union deeply condoled the tragic and untimely demise of its member late Bomge Nyori and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
