ITANAGAR, Apr 29: Arunachal Pradesh will be represented in FBB Colours Femina Miss India 2019 by the reigning Miss Arunachal, Roshni Dada.
Hailing from East Kameng district, 19-year-old Roshni is a student of B.Sc Nursing and daughter of Sasung Dada and Sanari Dada of Jeju Dada village.
Speaking to reporters here at Press Club, Roshni expressed her gratitude to the organizers of Miss Arunachal for conferring her a platform to reach the top stage of India’s beauty pageant. She also extended her gratefulness to her parents and well-wishers for supporting her in the journey.
“I still have a long journey to pass through and I need the same love and support to make my state proud,” she added.When asked about any nepotism in the national arena, she categorically replied, “I haven’t faced any kind of nepotism as of now, everyone is so supportive and cooperative.”
Organizing Secretary of Miss Arunachal, Tai Rocket informed that Roshni will represent the state at Mumbai in June next. While responding to query on any support from the government, Rocket said that the state government has already made Miss Arunachal event a state calendar affair and the concerned department of Youth Affairs is extending financial assistance to the winner for encouragement.
Roshni was selected at the FBB Colours Femina Miss India East Zone audition, organized by the Miss India Organization in Assam on March last from among the girls from all the eight Northeast states.
