Armed with brooms and shovels, personnel from BRTF and Military Station, Aalo with its entourage followed by highly motivated people from different walks of life manually repaired the neglected road as far as they could in the day long drive.Few tractor owners also voluntarily came forward and helped in lifting sand, silt and boulders and quarry owners gave free access to essential materials for the maintenance of the road free of cost.
Concerned over deplorable road conditions between Aalo and Pangin, Chairman, Doi Ado and Kento Ete disclosed that the society has been taking up the issue of highway and condition of the said road with the government for many years.
