Aalo, Mar 22: The day four of the nomination filing session today saw many aspiring candidates for both Parliamentary and Assembly constituencies of the state taking part.
Kiren Rijiju of BJP filed his nomination for I-Arunachal West Parliamentary constituency for the fourth successive occasion, while Rumak Jomoh also filed his nomination for 1-Arunachal West Parliamentary constituency as an independent candidate. Returning Officer 1-Arunachal West Parliamentary constituency administered the Oath of Affirmation to all the contesting candidates.
The second timer Tumke Bagra of BJP for 30th Aalo West and Nyamar Karbak, also from BJP for 27th Liromoba filed their nominations.
BJP’s Kento Jini for 31st Aalo East AC, JDU’s Topin Ete for Aalo West, former ZPC Yaman Bagra of INC for 30th Aalo West AC, all debutants, filed their respective nominations for the assembly seats today.
The Returning Officers S. Tikhak and C. Chukhu administered the Oath of Affirmation to all contesting candidates.
JD(S) candidate Gegong Apang and BJP’s Alo Libang today filed their respective nominations for the 34th Yingkiong-Tuting Assembly seat before the District Election Officer Karma Leki.
But till date, no nomination has been filed for the 40 Geku- Mariyang Assembly seat.DIPRO
