NEW DELHI, Jun 10: Minister Youth Affairs and Sports, Mama Natung called on Union Minister of State (Independent) for Youth Affairs and Sports and Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju at his office in Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi today and discussed prospects of youth affairs and sports in the state including avenues under Prime Minister Khelo India flagship programme.
Rijiju assured to try his best to bring as much infrastructure as possible to Arunachal Pradesh and to bring the state into the Sports Ministry radar in terms of infrastructure. Admitting that Arunachal Pradesh is the only state in India which does not have a top class sports stadium, Rijiju assured to focus on infrastructural development. He further disclosed that he would be soon visiting the state to assess the ongoing projects under the Ministry. OSD
