RONO HILLS, Nov 10: The final day of the 20th Uni-Fest celebrations Rajiv Gandhi University concluded today with Union MoS for State and Youth Affairs, Kiren Rijiju attending the valedictory function as chief guest.
With the motto of this year’s celebration being “Striving Towards Digitalization”, the participants were divided among 4 houses namely Wi-fi House, 4G House, Cashless House and Smart Class House. Different events related to literary, sports and cultural events were held with students turning up in huge numbers. Rajiv Gandhi University Students’ Union led by its President Dopum Sonam and General Secretary Kumar Rai closely coordinated the preparations as a part of the organizing committee which also had officials and faculty members of the varsity.
Rijiju in his address informed about the initiatives of GoI to be launched about the duties of citizens and emphasized on the need for building a pan-Arunachal identity. He also urged everyone to work for fitness and develop the state’s cultural heritage.
