RONO HILLS, Mar 15: The Rajiv Gandhi University Research Scholars’ Forum in collaboration with Arunachal Institute of Tribal Studies organise a two-day national seminar on “India/Northeast India: Issues, Dynamics and Emerging Realities,” in its campus premises here from March 18.
RGURSF Chairman Margum Ado in a release here Friday informed that a total of 4 sessions will be held on two days covering topics such as BEFR, Act 1873, Act East Policy, Issues of citizenship and minority rights in India, Tribes and Indigenous people, red tapism in Arunachal Pradesh, LGBT and their rights, Indigenous knowledge system and reservation system; problems and prospective.
Presenters from all parts of the country will take part in the deliberations, he said.
RGU Vice Chancellor, Prof Saket Kushwaha will inaugurate the seminar as the chief guest at the AITS conference hall. While RGU Registrar, Professor Tomo Riba will preside over the inaugural.
