ITANAGAR,  Oct 9: The Vice Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU), Prof. Saket Khushwaha called on Governor BD Mishra, who is the Chief Rector of the University at Raj Bhavan today.  They discussed various issues and challenges of RGU and the pressing need for improving the academic achievement and educational management of the institute.
The Governor said that the vision of higher education is to realize the State's human resource potential to its fullest with equity and inclusion. This essentially means providing greater access to higher education for all sections, particularly the vulnerable sections of society. He emphasised that RGU, the premier and lone Central University of Arunachal Pradesh must take a lead, to be a trend setter to excel and show the path for improving quality education, innovations, research work and good campus discipline. It must create new benchmarks of excellence in extending the frontiers of knowledge, the Governor remarked.
Prof. Khushwaha assured the Governor of his best efforts to realize the potential of the students and enhance the placement of students and the All India Ranking of the University.
