RONO HILLS, Mar 20: The young researchers of Rajiv Gandhi University have again proved their mettle by winning a regional level competition at Assam University Silchar during the just concluded north east regional research scholars’ meet-2017. A PhD research scholar from the university’s department of Zoology, Karsing Megu was adjudged as the best oral paper presenter. He edged past 47 other participants from various leading universities of the region. Earlier, a total of four students were shortlisted to represent RGU by the academic branch of the university. The four scholars from the faculty of Life Sciences namely Karsing Megu, Tapi Taka, Hage Konya and Jentu Giba participated in both the competitions for Oral Paper presentation and Poster presentation competitions.
Ecstatic over the performance, Deputy Registrar (Academic & Conference) of RGU Dr. David Pertin opined that RGU has high potentiality in the field of research.
