PASIGHAT, Apr 24:A one day career counselling cum guidance program for the students of Jawaharlal Nehru College, Pasighat was held at its campus on Monday. The program was organized by research scholars of Rajiv Gandhi University and NERIST under the leadership of Miyo Tayeng, Dy. Speaker and Kamin Modi, Secretary Research & Documentation, AAPSU.

Appreciating the effort of the research scholars, Local MLA cum Parliamentary Secretary for Disaster Management, Kaling Moyong in his address also urged students to opt for sports as a career. While highlighting various development projects initiated  under  Prime Minister Narendra and Chief Minister, Pema Khandu,  Moyong  opined that  the college upper campus road which was built sometime during1963 is now going to be broadened to double lane for which fund worth  Rs. 6.5 Cr has  already been sanctioned.

Speaking on the occasion, General Secretary, AAPSU Tobom Dai said that students need to change their mindset and become more responsible.

“AAPSU is now focusing on education sector and stressing for early functioning of full fledged Arunachal State University,” he said.

Among others, Principal JN College , M. Modi , Prof. Otem Padung also spoke.
